At Ness, we are committed to discipling across boarders.
Boarders can be geo-political, cultural, or economic. It is across all of these that Ness is committed to following the command of the Great Commission (Matthew 28) and making disciples. We support a number of individual missionaries in various countries, including Canada, as well as partnering with several missions organizations to live out our commission. We are also active in crossing the boarders in our own community of St. James, Winnipeg. Find out how to support or get involved below...
NESS FOOD BASKET
Ness Food Basket is held every second Saturday morning and works in connection with Manitoba Harvest. Manitoba Harvest recipients come to receive food to meet their physical needs but also receive encouragement and care from our many faithful volunteers.
Appointments for recipients need to be made through Manitoba Harvest at 204-982-3660, Monday to Thursday, 9:15 am - 3:30 pm the week prior to the scheduled Saturday.
If you would like to donate supplies, we are currently looking for:
Pasta
Pasta sauce
Peanut butter
Canned meat
Rice
Soups
Canned fruit
And any other non-perishable food items
Feminine hygiene products
Dish soap
Shampoo
Just drop your donations off at the church anytime we're open.
